This policy explains what is collected when you visit nailsbyciandra.com, why, and what choices you have. Nails by Ciandra is a nail salon in Tbilisi, Georgia, and this website is a brochure for that salon.

Who is responsible

Nails by Ciandra (“we”) runs this website and decides why and how the information described here is handled. Nails by Ciandra Avlabari, Tbilisi, Georgia Phone: +995 558 51 14 80 Email: [email protected]

What is collected

This website has no accounts, no contact form and no online payment. You are never asked for personal details, and nothing you type is stored here. Two things are still collected. First, the technical information every website receives in order to answer a request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. This is handled by our hosting and by Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from attack. Second, if you agree to it, the analytics and advertising tools listed below place cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and send information about your visit to their providers. Booking happens on WhatsApp. If you message us there, that conversation takes place inside WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy policy, and we see your WhatsApp name and number just as any recipient would.

Cookies and similar technologies

Only what is strictly necessary to deliver the site is set without your agreement. The tools below are not loaded until you accept them, in every country whose law requires that, including the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Elsewhere they load by default, and you can switch them off at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.

ToolProviderPurpose
Google Analytics 4Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLCCounts visits and shows which pages and languages are used, so the site can be improved.
Google AdsGoogle Ireland Ltd. / Google LLCMeasures whether an advertisement led to a visit, and allows ads to be shown again to people who have visited before.
Meta PixelMeta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.Measures whether a Facebook or Instagram advertisement led to a visit, and allows ads to be shown again to people who have visited before.

Why we are allowed to do this

Analytics and advertising rely on your consent, which you give through the banner and can withdraw at any time. The technical information needed to deliver and secure the site is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the website at all. If you start a booking conversation, what you send is handled in order to reply to you.

Who else sees it, and where

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers named above. Those providers handle it on their own terms, as independent controllers. Google and Meta operate globally, so if you accept the analytics and advertising tools your information may be transferred outside Georgia, the EEA and the United Kingdom, including to the United States. Those transfers rely on the providers' own safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long it is kept

We keep nothing ourselves through this website. Retention is set by each provider: Google Analytics keeps data according to the retention period configured on the account, and Google and Meta advertising identifiers expire on their own schedules, typically between a few months and two years. Clearing your browser's cookies removes the identifiers stored on your device straight away.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, some or all of the following apply. To use any of them, write to [email protected].

  • Ask what information about you is being handled, and get a copy of it.
  • Have inaccurate information about you corrected.
  • Ask for information about you to be deleted.
  • Object to it being used, or ask that its use be restricted.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing does not affect what happened beforehand.
  • Complain to a supervisory authority. In Georgia that is the Personal Data Protection Service (personaldata.ge).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page and the date above is updated. Please look at it from time to time.
